1. WATER TECHNICIAN TRAINEE

Texas Drinking Water Systems has been in business since 1989 and has a wonderful reputation and extensive customer base in DFW.

This excellent opportunity is for an entrepreneur-minded individual who is looking to join an established company with a great reputation and help it grow exponentially. Additional business directly produced by the candidate and/or bringing an established book of business will be compensated accordingly. We expect a strong 35-40 hours a week with required overtime/travel on rare occasions.

We are searching for an individual who is able-bodied and interested in earning a Class III Water Specialist License.

Pay and Benefits

$13.00 – $17.00 per hour

Duties of Job:

  • Assist with installs, repairs, servicing of residential and/or commercial filtration systems, including: media tanks, control valves, reverse osmosis systems, storage tanks, UV, Ozone, pumps, and plumbing.
  • Assist with general plumbing
  • Occasional digging
  • Manage inventory
  • Interact with customers
  • Create estimates and invoices

Required or Preferred Experience:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree OR

High School Diploma with at least 1 year of verifiable water treatment or plumbing experience (installs and service) OR

Class I or II Water Specialist License

Job Details:

Full-time Pay: $13 – $17 / hour (depending on experience) (Plus potential to earn Class III Water Specialist License – pay will increase accordingly)

2. CLASS III WATER TECHNICIAN (Water Treatment Experience Required)

Job description

Since 1989, we have been working with residential and commercial outfits including: office system rentals, ranches, agricultural businesses, custom home builders, manufacturing/production plants, cigar stores, restaurants, and more. We have been in business since 1989 and have a database of over 4,500 customers.

This is not a regular job. This excellent opportunity is for an entrepreneur-minded individual who is looking to join an established company with a great reputation and help it grow exponentially. Additional business directly produced by the candidate and/or bringing an established book of business will be compensated accordingly. We aren’t slave drivers. We expect a strong 35-40 hours a week and overtime/travel on rare occasion.

We are searching for a seasoned Class 3 Water Specialist or a licensed plumber (prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable work experience).

Skills required or strongly preferred:

  • Intrinsically motivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure (occasionally)

Duties of Job:

  • Design, install, repair, and service commercial tanks and/or RO systems
  • Design, install, repair and service systems (whole-home ROs, media tanks, under sink ROs, pumps, UV, ozone, etc.)
  • General plumbing
  • Building estimates and invoices
  • Manage inventory
  • Interact with commercial and residential customers
  • Required or Strongly Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with water pump installation, and repair, UV, ozone, media tanks, general plumbing, RO systems
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online a plus
